Cancelling and Rescheduling Lessons

If you will be unable to attend a booked lesson (whether booked as a single lesson, recurring lesson, or as part of a package), please contact me at as soon as possible and I will do my best to reschedule it. Any lesson can be rescheduled once only, after which it will be treated as a cancellation.

Repeated requests to reschedule lessons, especially at relatively short notice, may result in the offer to reschedule further lessons being withdrawn.

Please note that it is not possible to reschedule a lesson at less than 24 hours notice.

Refunds

Lessons booked online are not subject to a 14 day “cooling off” period.

Cancellations and “no shows” will be fully chargeable, and no fee will be refunded.

Packages

Packages are essentially “books” of lesson vouchers.

One purchased, you can schedule lessons from your package(s) as required until you have used them up, or until the package itself expires.

• Packages of 4 lessons expire 3 months (92 days) after purchase.
• Packages of 10 lessons expire 5 months (160 days) after purchase.

Lessons must be scheduled before the expiry date of the package. For example:

a package of 4 x 1 hour Guitar Lessons expiring on January 16 at 12:50 would allow you to book a lesson on January 16 at 12:00, but would not allow you to book a lesson on, or after, January 16 at 13:00.

You can select and edit a lesson from your package until you save the package. Once saved, it will no longer be editable and will be treated as any other booked lesson. Should you wish to reschedule a lesson booked as part of a package, please see above for rescheduling conditions. Lessons booked as part of a package cannot be rescheduled to any date/time after the package’s expiry date.

Refunds

Unwanted packages are eligible for a full refund, provided they remain completely unused (i.e. no lesson has been booked from them) and the original purchaser contacts me within 14 days of the date of purchase (“cooling-off” period).

Refunds will only be issued to the same account and payment method used for the original purchase.

Once a lesson has been booked from a package, that package is non-refundable.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified. After the expiry date, the Gift Certificate will no longer be valid, and any remaining balance will be forfeited.

Gift Certificates can only be redeemed for one of our specific services, subject to availability.

The Gift Certificate code must be used at the time of purchase.

Partial redemption is permitted, with the remaining balance available for future use until the expiry date of the certificate.

Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash or used for purchasing other Gift Certificates.

Free 30 minute taster lesson

These are limited to new clients only, and strictly to one lesson per client. Once you have booked a taster lesson, you can change the instrument required, provided you contact me more than 24 hours before the session’s scheduled time. It is not possible to reschedule a free taster lesson, and cancellations or “no shows” will result in the offer of a free lesson being withdrawn.
